Welcome Ann Oglesby as a Radish Advisor

We're pleased that Ann Oglesby has become an advisor for Radish. She is a board-certified internist and she brings a wealth of experience in both healthcare and business. She has worked as a financial analyst focusing on publicly-traded healthcare companies. She spent over a decade at Billings Clinic in Montana in various roles, including Vice-president for Medical Affairs and Executive Director of Quality Improvement. Learn more.

Use Case: Using Your Phone for Complex Financial Transactions

Financial companies want to assist customers anytime they choose to check, change, or add to their accounts and investment portfolios. Using an IVR (Interactive Voice Response) system saves money but frustrates and discourages many customers who want quick, easy self service. Customers don't want clumsy voice-only options and difficult-to-understand verbiage. Customers want clear and easy-to-use communications.

The sequence below illustrates the ChoiceView difference. A customer calls the financial company's 800 number. She sees and hears automated options via a Visual IVR and selects "Accounts & Transfer Funds." She receives and completes an authentication form. Then she reviews her investment portfolio and saves it for future reference. Additionally, she makes other adjustments by transferring funds to a mutual fund, receives and saves confirmations, and much more through self-service. She started with a regular phone call and was pleased to engage in a secure visual session to complete the transaction.
